Ambassador's Cocktail
Recently while perusing Pinterest we found a pin that said "Brunch without cocktails is just a sad, late breakfast." Yup! We couldn't agree more!
So while deciding what to serve at our Bike Race Brunch, we immediately turned to another one of Tall Mom's recipes. This Ambassador's Cocktail used to be Tall One's grandfather's favorite, and let's just say that he was a man of good taste (usually)!
We followed the original recipe and then decided to kick it up a notch with the addition of the citrus vodka because we're The Spatularettes and that is how we roll. But if you would like to keep your Ambassador's Cocktail a little tamer, feel free to leave out the vodka. It is delicious either way!
INGREDIENTS:
-59 oz container of orange juice
-1 cup of cointreau or triple sec
-1 cup of citrus vodka (we used Absolute Citron)
-1 .75 ml bottle of champagne
Combine the first four ingredients in a punch bowl and stir well. Add the entire bottle of champagne just before serving and stir again. So simple and your guests will love you.
Don't let your brunch be a sad, late breakfast ever again!!
XOXO,
Tall and Small
